Today, I created life…

…or, at very least, managed to replicate my own. The latest Mortal Kombat game features a Kreate-A-Kombatant mode, which isn’t half bad. Normally, I’m more of a Tekken fan, largely because I was one of the apparently first people to be able to consistantly consestently conzistontly regularly beat Chris at the game.

So, yeah. Me. Just so you know, I fight with the martial art of Welsh Smack, and the sword style of Mutton Chop. Yarrgh!

I love – love – good character creation in games. Fighting games, with Soul Calibur III leading the charge, have finally realised that character creation can make even a mediocre game infinitely more playable. I reckon it won’t be long before we start to see the ability to put ourselves and our friends into, say, a Dawn Of War style game. Heh!

  1. There’s a theory that otherwise literate people mis-spell words when they’re attempting to deceive.

    *cough* ‘consistantly’ *cough*

  2. I stand corrected.

But I’ll still whup yer hide this weekend. And this time, I’ll do it… as ME! Mwahahahahaha!

  3. I shall leave you weeping at Tekken, but yes, you may well kick my ass at MK. At least until you sleep, and I practice for 5 hours. And if that doesn’t work I’ll have to cut your thumbs off.

Ewww. I just had a fiendishly unpleasant mental image involving evil-flatmate-Sarah and teeth in unusual places. I’ll spare you the details.

  4. Spare me.

But as for you leaving me weeping… Prepare to cry, boyo. Big, flatulent tears.

  5. I’ll just beat you all with his real swords!
