Square Enix are fucktards.

Christ, where to start?

Generally, I’m opposed to online journals. I kept one for a while, until I realised that I never read anyone else’s, and no one really read mine unless I sent out an email saying, “Look at my blog today”. Journals aren’t interesting, unless you’re The Hoff.

(Does he have a blog? Because I know a man who’d love to keep track of Michael Knight’s, ah, movements)

And I don’t have the time or inclination to fill this in regularly. So I won’t. Fuck you.

 Hmm. Maybe this:

Old news, I know, but I just got round to reading Chris’ take on Square Enix’s “will-we-won’t-we” attitude towards the PS3. He states that FFVIII made him buy a PS1, and FFX was the first PS2 game he bought.

Well, I remember being round at his house and watching him play FFVIII, and then going and buying my own PS1. And, while I owned a PS2 before the advent of FFX, I do remember drooling over the demo, and getting out of bed unconsciably early to buy the game itself.

My beef isn’t with Square Enix changing sides. They went from Nintendo to Sony for FFVII, and have more recently rekindled back with Mario-land. Hell, I like it when a game is multiformat. No. I want Square to stop with the FFVII spin-offs.

Stop. Fucking. With. Cloud. And. Friends.

The film was fun. The other games may or may not be good (from what I hear, largely not). But FFXII is now a year late in Europe, and it’s doing my fucking nut in.

That is all.
